Team Patlak Republicans is participating in the 6th annual A Safe Haven 5K to help end veteran homelessness. A Safe Haven Foundation is an organization based in Chicago which assists homeless people, especially veterans, who may be suffering from the many causes of homelessness including various addictions. A Safe Haven Foundation assists in recovery and rehabilitation so that these men and women who have served our country can be brought back to full participation as engaged citizens.
With your help, we organized the largest team at the A Safe Haven 5K in Douglas Park last year, and raised more money than any other team for a very worthy cause - helping homeless veterans. Please join us again this year to stand up for those that protect our nation.
