In Tuesday's Republican primary, our nomination for a powerful and important office is at stake. It's Commissioner of the Cook County Board of Review. Our Republican incumbent is Dan Patlak. I ask you to join me in supporting Dan.
Dan was elected in 2010 and is the first Republican to beat an incumbent Cook County Democrat in fifteen years. He has an admirable record in office, pushing for new transparency and efficiency standards and saving tax dollars. The Tribune and the Daily Herald both endorse Dan, as I do today.
Dan is a hard-working and vigorous advocate for the taxpayers. His character, integrity and energy are unquestioned. We need to support officeholders like Dan who have kept their promises and tightened government's belt.
I ask you to support our exceptional Republican Commissioner Dan Patlak on March 20 if you live in Cook County.
For good government and for the Republican Party – vote Proudly for Patlak, and please remind your friends and neighbors to vote for Dan too.
